Warning Description: Winter Storm Warning

Warning Date: 9:27 PM CST on February 8, 2010

WarningSum:...Winter Storm Warning Remains In Effect Until 6 Am Cst
Tuesday...

Warning Message:A Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until 6 am CST Tuesday. 
* Timing...accumulating snow will continue into the overnight
  hours.
* Main impact...overnight and early Tuesday morning additional
  snowfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches. Storm total snowfall amounts
  by Tuesday morning...since Sunday...between 7 and 12 inches.
* Other impacts...gusty north winds will develop tonight and 
  possibly result in areas of blowing and drifting snow with 
  further reduced visibilities. 
Precautionary/preparedness actions...
A Winter Storm Warning for heavy snow means severe winter weather
conditions are expected or occurring.  Significant amounts of
snow are forecast that will make travel dangerous. Only travel in
an emergency. If you must travel...keep an extra flashlight...
food... and water in your vehicle in case of an emergency.
